About You
- Proven experience in electrical design engineering within large-scale mining or industrial projects.
- Familiarity with overland conveyor systems and primary crushing operations.
- Understanding of NPI elements such as fleet maintenance facilities, camp infrastructure, and decarbonisation technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams during feasibility and design phases.
- Willingness to engage in occasional site travel as required.
Job Requirements
- Leading electrical design engineering for crushing and conveying systems.
- Supporting the development of Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI), including:
- Camp facilities
- Mining fleet maintenance areas
- Decarbonisation infrastructure (e.g., charging stations)
- Overhead transmission lines (OHL)
- Contributing to project progression from Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) to Feasibility stage.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver design outcomes aligned with project milestones.
- Participating in design reviews and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety requirements.
- Engaging in ad-hoc site travel as required during current project phases.
- Committing to a long-term engagement (12 months+), with potential for extension through to Final Investment Decision (FID).
