- Earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- Minimum 10-15 years of hands-on experience in well site operations with Major International Operator, particularly in workover, completions, or well intervention activities, Minimum 5 years’ experience as Workover/Completions Engineer with at least 5 years as a Workover Site Leader (WSL) or 5 years in a high leadership position.
- Experience with land rig workover operations and planning, including water shutoff, water injection, fishing, fracturing, stimulation, ESP operations, and complex workover projects in challenging environments.
- Valid IADC or IWCF Supervisory level Well Control certification.
- Demonstrate a PROVEN track record of introducing and applying successful implementation of new technology to Workovers/Completions
- Good communication and mentoring skills to be commensurate with the above job role.
- Strong team player with exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrable experience of managing rig and service contractors on multiple rig operations
- Workover Engineering in oil/gas field development/rehabilitation projects
- Aptitude to innovate and be open to new ideas.
- Flexible approach to work
- Proficiency in workover program development, risk assessments, and troubleshooting.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and crisis-management skills.
- Experience in contractor and stakeholder management
- Deep understanding of ROO HSE policies, regulatory standards, and safety leadership.
- Experience in conducting incident investigations and safety audits.
- Proficient in safe working practices and good oil field practices
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge of the oil industry
- Strong English written and oral English
