Site SMP Coordinator – Hydrogen Project
Location: Pilbara, WA (FIFO from Perth)
Roster: 2:1 | 11-hour days (10.5 hrs paid + unpaid break)
Contract: 6 months | Immediate start | potential for extension

We are seeking an experienced Site SMP Coordinator to join a Hydrogen Project in the Pilbara. This role is critical in overseeing structural, mechanical, and piping activities on-site, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution of works.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and provide technical support to ensure compliance with project standards and schedules.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site SMP Coordinator to join a Hydrogen Project in the Pilbara. This role is critical in overseeing structural, mechanical, and piping activities on-site, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution of works.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and provide technical support to ensure compliance with project standards and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate SMP construction activities on-site.
- Interface with engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure constructability.
- Monitor fabrication and installation schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare and review work packs, progress reports, and execution plans.
- Support management of change (MOC) processes and site-based design changes.
- Drive safety, quality, and cost control across all site activities.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Chemical Engineering or relevant trade background.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in onshore plant construction
- Strong subcontractor management and site execution experience.
- Proven track record in Australian construction projects.
- Computer literacy (P6 advantageous) and excellent communication skills.
