UK Events & Public Relations Manager - 12 month initial contract - Based Swindon
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a UK renewable energy business, who are currently looking to recruit a UK Events & PR Manager for an initial 12 month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contact and coordinator in the securing of, preparation for, and attendance at exhibitions and events in the UK, ensuring alignment with the wider Group Public Relations team.
- Coordinate production and delivery of all exhibition and collateral materials, including exhibition stand and the creation, storage and dissemination of collateral for promoting the company brand as appropriate & in line with company branding guidelines
- Support with the creation and maintenance of UK promotional materials such as infographics, brochures and films for use by the wider business at events and other PR activities.
- Support with the development and delivery of multifaceted PR campaigns, with an emphasis on social and digital media in the UK, with the goal of positively positioning company in alignment with Group PR.
Key tasks
- Identify conferences and events for company participation and sponsorship, discussing and agreeing opportunity and value to business.
- Manage end-to-end companies participation and presence for high profile events in the UK.
- Negotiation and agreeing contracts and ensuring all relevant compliance procedures and rules are followed.
- Responsibility for production and maintenance of company exhibition stand(s) – negotiating with external providers to ensure value for money for company
- Working closely with the Social Media & Digital team, manage and coordinate the production of collateral, including films, graphics, animations, leaflets and booklets, gifts, gives aways, etc.
- Coordinate company participation, attending conferences where required to set up / break down and ensure smooth-running of the event.
- Negotiate budgets for all relevant materials, ensuring value for money for company.
