Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and certified X-Ray Inspection Technician to support our inspection operations. The ideal candidate will hold a current Florida IRRSP credential and possess a minimum of Level II X-Ray certification. While the primary responsibility will involve operating and maintaining our X-Ray unit, this position will also include performing additional non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and other inspection techniques as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Florida IRRSP credential and possess a minimum of Level II X-Ray certification. While the primary responsibility will involve operating and maintaining our X-Ray unit, this position will also include performing additional non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and other inspection techniques as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain industrial X-Ray equipment in compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct radiographic inspections and interpret results to identify potential defects or non-conformities.
- Prepare and document inspection reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support additional inspection processes, including but not limited to FPI and other NDT methods.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to ensure product integrity and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date certifications and adhere to all applicable radiation safety protocols.
- Current Florida IRRSP credential required.
- Minimum Level II certification in X-Ray inspection.
- Experience with NDT methods (e.g., FPI, UT, MT, VT) strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and safety requirements related to radiographic inspection.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documentation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
