5 Axis CNC Mill Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated 5-Axis CNC Mill Machinist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and programming CNC milling machines, with specific expertise on Okuma, Haas, and/or Mori Seiki equipment. Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot 5-Axis CNC milling machines (Okuma, Haas, Mori Seiki).
  
  
• Interpret and work from blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T specifications.
  
  
• Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and ensure dimensional accuracy through precise measurement.
  
  
• Monitor production runs, maintain quality standards, and document inspection results.
  
  
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  
  
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of CNC milling experience (5-axis strongly preferred).
  
  
• Proficiency with Okuma, Haas, and/or Mori Seiki CNC machines.
  
  
• Strong understanding of G-code programming and editing.
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  
  
• Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.).
  
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
