- Use, manage, and maintain control standards for HRSG Bypass Stations, Steam Attemperators and major 4160 equipment
What You Bring (requirements)
- University bachelor’s degree (electrical, control, electronics, mechanical or similar) or 10 + years of work experience in power generation or similar industry.
- Knowledge of Boiler and/or HRSG controls is required
- Customer service oriented, must be self-managed and a team player, Ability to adapt to last minute and unforeseen changes.
- Aid in designing site-specific control logic from customer specifications, SAMA diagrams, logic diagrams, and reverse-engineering of ladder-logic, or existing code.
- Aid in designing, developing, and testing engineering modifications of solutions.
- Perform plant integration and aid with loop checks of new and existing instruments and commissioning of engineered control logic.
- Performing back-office plant assessment studies to determine cost benefits of startup optimization, heat rate optimization, startup sequencing, alarm, and manual operator intervention reduction at power generation facilities.
