Join the Infrastructure and Services Governance and Technical stewardship team providing specialist Structural and Civil Engineering technical expertise to the operation and wider I&S and ensuring a robust risk and benefit-based assessment process is followed for engineering applications.
To commence asap on a 12 month contract initially, you will be on an hourly rate in the range of $70-80/hr + Super and based in the Central Queensland Office on a Monday to Friday roster with FIFO options available.

A little more about the role:
- Provide expert engineering support to ensure all solutions meet safety, design, and compliance standards
- Develop effective remediation strategies for asset integrity issues and engage with Operational stakeholders to define and analyse remediation solutions
- Support the planning, safe execution, and commissioning of remediation packages in line with scope, budget, schedule, and relevant standards
- Contribute to reporting and documentation for the execution of Asset Integrity Remediation work packages
- Apply technical expertise to develop quality inspection task instructions aligned with the company's Buildings and Structures Standards and other risk-based documentation
- Conduct field verifications as a subject matter expert in accordance with preventative maintenance inspection protocols for structural integrity.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree qualifications in civil / structural engineering disciplines
- Proven experience in engineering within asset integrity, infrastructure, or structural domains.
- Strong understanding of safety standards, risk management, and remediation planning.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
