Commissioning System Lead – Electrical
 
Contract period: 01/12/2025 - 13/04/2026
Location: Verdal 

Key responsibilities and tasks
  • Lead role for ensuring completions and commissioning requirements are carried out safely, efficiently, and ensure they meet all project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.  
  • Be part of the site team in connection with necessary preparations, check-out and power-up (FSE). 
  • Be responsible in connection with preparations work and energizing temporary equipment, e.g., temporary generators. 
  • Be responsible for establishing and verifying the LUN for all EIT equipment, with subsequent activation and check-out of electrical equipment ahead of dynamic commissioning. 
  • Be responsible for the overall status of all electrical equipment such as switchboards, incomers, MCC, starters, etc. 
  • Be part of the commissioning certification and handover process for ensuring safe and efficient handover to Operations upon completion of commissioning.  
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning electro team and ensure a high level of focus on health, safety and the environment to achieve client's expectations. 
  • Provision of commissioning support to project as required, including ensuring sufficient manning according to project needs. 
  • When required, act as deputy for the site commissioning EICT lead during the commissioning phases. 

Qualification requirements
  • BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education/experience. 
  • Track record of engineering competency and delivery in the Norwegian Oil & Gas industry and ability to demonstrate effective project management skills.
  • Familiarity with planning tools, works management systems and document management systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. 
  • Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning technicians.
