Communications Specialist – Sustainability & R&D

Want to use your communications skills to make an impact on a global scale? This is your opportunity to shape how employees connect with two of the most future-focused areas of our clients business: Sustainability and Research & Development.

We’re looking for a Communications Specialist to join a global team, based at either the Manchester or Bracknell offices. This hybrid role (with regular office presence) is a chance to work at the heart of an international organisation that’s tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges through science, innovation, and sustainable solutions.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive engaging internal comms and campaigns across Sustainability and R&D.

  • Create content that inspires colleagues—whether it’s news stories, digital updates, or campaign materials.

  • Partner with leaders to deliver strategies that connect teams to global goals.

  • Support change and transformation with thoughtful, clear communication.

  • Be part of a collaborative comms & marketing team with plenty of support, while also owning your own projects.

What we’re looking for:

  • A background in communications (internal comms, engagement, campaigns, or PR).

  • A motivated, proactive communicator who doesn’t need hand-holding.

  • Someone curious, creative, and ready to bring fresh ideas to the table.

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills—comfortable creating content for different audiences and platforms.

  • The drive to grow your career in a global business.

 Why join?

  • Work on high-profile projects that matter—Sustainability and R&D.

  • Hybrid working, with an energising office culture surrounded by comms & marketing colleagues.

  • Exposure to senior leaders while being supported by an experienced team.

  • A 12-month contract with long-term potential.

  • Huge opportunity to develop your career in a company at the forefront of science, innovation, and sustainability.
