Job Title: Construction Piping Superintendent
Location: Botlekweg 127, Rotterdam-Botlek, Netherlands
Start Date: November 2025
Duration: 12 months (initial term)
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Piping Superintendent to oversee piping activities on a major industrial project in the Botlek region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and quality execution of all piping construction works, in alignment with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Piping Superintendent to oversee piping activities on a major industrial project in the Botlek region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and quality execution of all piping construction works, in alignment with project specifications and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise piping construction activities on site.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, site teams, and engineering to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor progress and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Report regularly on site activities, issues, and progress to project management.
- Proven experience in piping construction within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors.
- Strong familiarity with the Rotterdam/Botlek industrial region.
- Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken).
- Valid VCA-VOL certification.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Additional certifications such as First Aid or Fire Safety are advantageous.
- Working Hours: 9 hours/day, Monday to Friday. Overtime may be requested and compensated if pre-approved.
- Travel: Daily commuting costs are not reimbursed. Business travel requested by the company will be fully reimbursed.
- Remote Work: Only permitted with prior approval from the Site Manager.
- Bonus: A completion bonus of 5% of the daily rate per day worked, payable at the end of the assignment (subject to conditions).
