About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Contract Manager to take ownership of the post-award contract management for a major Admin Campus Design & Build project. This role will be the key interface with the EPC Contractor’s commercial team and will ensure all contractual obligations are met efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the post-award management of the Admin Campus contract.
  • Resolve administrative and commercial issues in line with internal Delegation of Authority (DOA).
  • Ensure timely submission of contractual deliverables (e.g., bank guarantees, insurances, invoices).
  • Review and validate technical and commercial content of changes and claims.
  • Prepare terms and assumptions for evaluating and defending changes or claims.
  • Facilitate and minute bi-weekly Commercial/Change Management meetings.
  • Manage and track:
    • Contract change notices and amendments
    • Contractor correspondence
    • Change management log
    • Payment certificates and invoice log
    • Claims log
    • Insurance and guarantee log
Candidate ProfileEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or Economics.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in contract management within the Building Construction sector.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects is essential.
  • Must be eligible to work in Belgium immediately.
Technical Skills
  • Strong expertise in contract management and Design & Build contracts.
  • Familiarity with greenfield petrochemical construction projects.
  • Solid understanding of contracting law (English & Belgian law).
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
