We are currently recruiting a CSU Electrical Engineer on a contract basis for Global Oil & Gas EPC in Karratha on a 3/1 roster on a large onshore LNG project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Planning and conducting work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, adaptation, and modification of standard techniques, guidelines, procedures, and criteria.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensures the Zero Accident Philosophy is incorporated into every aspect of Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning / Start up activities.
  • Actively participates in safety programs.
  • Receives operational surveillance, administrative supervision and technical guidance from an CSU Electrical Lead or Pre-Commissioning Manager .
  • Objectives are defined, and results are subject to supervisory review. Receives day-to-day supervision from CSU Electrical Lead.
  • Establishes and maintains contacts with client, supplier, regulatory bodies, project management, engineering, and field personnel.
  • Represents startup on project teams as assigned.
  • Prepare project administrative and technical documents as required for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, startup, maintenance, operation, and/or testing.
  • Establishes and implements plans, instructions, procedures and work process improvements to ensure the safe, timely and economical delivery of Pre Commissioning / Commissioning / Start up activities to meet project requirements.
  • Integrates interdisciplinary schedule requirements and constraints to establish logical work sequences for assigned disciplines or specialties.
  • Works with the contractors and others to coordinate work sequences with the total project plan.
  • Ensure permanent plant materials are stored in accordance with specifications and project requirements.
  • Responsible for testing of electrical system(s) as per Manufacturer's and legislative requirements.
  • Responsible for jobsite operations including onsite activities of subcontractors, suppliers, clients and their representatives.
  • Monitors the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules·

Point of Mobalisation: Perth, Western Australia
Hours per day: 10 hours
Roster: 3 weeks on, 1 week off
