CTO - Mechanical Solutions - Hisnchu

Responsibility: 

1. Develop the company's long-term technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring technological innovation aligns with the group’s business objectives.
2. Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance the company’s competitiveness and support new business models.
3. Design and oversee the R&D architecture, manage the company’s technical framework, optimize development processes and methodologies, and improve R&D efficiency and product quality.
4. Build, manage, and nurture a high-performing technology team, including the development of talent growth and performance evaluation plans.
5. Lead or participate in major technical projects, ensuring the feasibility and advancement of technical solutions, and driving successful project delivery.
6. Collaborate with product, business, and marketing departments to align technical solutions with business needs, providing technical support and recommendations.
7. Host executive meetings, coordinate, inspect, and supervise departmental work, review the company’s core management systems and regulations, and evaluate and decide on major investment plans such as equipment, infrastructure, and talent.
8. Report business outcomes to the board of directors or legal representatives, and communicate company policies and performance to employees.
9. Participate in key or strategic customer engagements to support business development and strengthen client relationships.

Qualifications: 

1. Proven experience in managing R&D or engineering teams.
2. Background in automotive electronics and/or AI server data center technologies is a strong plus.
3. Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing); internal communication is conducted in both Chinese and English, while external communication is primarily in English.
