Database Administrator – 6 Month Contract
Melbourne CBD – Monday to Friday

NES Fircroft has proudly partnered with a global energy development business operating a diversified energy portfolio to source an experienced Database Administrator for an initial 6-month contract, based in Melbourne’s CBD. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a major database consolidation project, assisting with the migration of data between legacy and new systems while ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the consolidation and migration of databases between two software platforms
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility throughout the transition
  • Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to resolve database-related issues
  • Provide technical input and documentation to support the migration process
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar technical role
  • Strong understanding of database structures, data management, and migration processes
  • Exposure to stakeholder management systems (e.g., Borealis or similar platforms)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
