What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with external engineers and designers to review and optimize technical designs for secondary circuits, including signaling, control, measurements, and protection systems.
- Verify electrical schematics and as-built drawings from external design teams.
- Select appropriate protection devices, relays, and cabling to support accurate cost estimation.
- Support commissioning of new renewable energy installations and contribute to operational strategies to maximize system performance.
- Ensure the selectivity and proper functioning of protection systems.
- Assist with investor supervision during project execution and preparation.
- Help develop and optimize design and construction guidelines.
- Provide technical support to the electrical department and collaborate with other companies within the Equinor group.
- Proven experience in designing secondary circuit systems, including protection, control, signaling, and measurement.
- Hands-on experience with medium, high, and low voltage substations, as well as PV farm projects.
- Solid knowledge of protection automation systems and industry standards.
- Familiarity with electrical devices and apparatus.
- Good command of English, both for reading technical documentation and professional communication.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
