Electrical Engineer - Brisbane

We are now working with a leading electrical engineering consultancy and systems integrator servicing industrial, utility, and government clients. They are a nationally recognised consultancy that delivers innovative, practical solutions that enhance production efficiency, system reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Job Description: 

As part of our engineering team, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of low-voltage electrical systems. Working under the mentorship of a Senior Engineer, this role involves hands-on responsibilities in all project stages from concept and detailed design to site testing and commissioning. You will be ensuring that engineering outcomes align with client expectations, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver electrical designs, calculations, documentation, and commissioning activities in line with project scope, quality, and safety standards
  • Prepare specifications, proposals, and cost estimates to meet expectations of clients and reduce delivery risks
  • Maintain compliance with WHS, environmental, and company standards whilst promoting a strong safety culture
  • Develop technical and professional capabilities through ongoing learning, training, and collaboration with peers
  • Assist with technical investigations, concept development, and feasibility studies for heavy industry projects.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years electrical engineering experience, predominately in an industrial and consulting environment
  • Standard QLD open-class Motor Vehicle License is essential
  • Adequate Control Systems Design and configuration capabilities in an industrial environment
  • LV power distribution and reticulation experience
  • Ability to conduct high-quality technical documents in English.
