Job dimensions
The EPCI Installation Representative reports to the EPCI Installation Manager and is accountable for all activities in Pemba, Mozambique related to the installation campaigns executed by the EPCI Contractor. They shall work closely with the Company Installation & Construction Manager located in Afungi camp, Company Site Representatives (CSR) onboard the Contractor DW offshore vessels, and Contractor operations team in Pemba.

The incumbent will be responsible for safe and timely completion of the DW offshore installation campaigns working in conjunction with his counterparts in the MTV Consortium (EPCI Contractor). They are expected to provide leadership and oversight of all logistics activities, vessel mobilizations in Pemba, onshore/bay lifting activities, material and equipment transportation from/to DW field, understand needs from their stakeholders (offshore, Afungi, Paris, etc.) and support them. They also may be part of the Incident Management Team (IMT) in Pemba in case of emergency/accident.

The position is based in Pemba, Mozambique, 28 days rotational, 12hr-day shift, on-call 24/7 while on seat. They are expected to undertake ad-hoc missions to the worksites and the associated DW vessels. They will be the main Company representative in Pemba and provide oversight for other EPCI team members there, on specific mission and permanently rotating.

Activities
•            Provide project oversight and leadership of the Company Pemba Site Team during the installation and construction phases.
•            Act as the senior installation representative of the Upstream team in Pemba Site and interface with the team in Muxara.
•            Monitor, report, review and manage all facets of EPCI activities in Pemba (including risks) to ensure that schedule, technical, quality and HSES requirements are, as a minimum, met or improved upon.
•            Provide leadership in identification and resolution of interface issues, in conjunction with managers / senior discipline engineers, in an efficient and cost-effective manner and ensure continued communication with all stakeholders (including Paris and Afungi teams)
•            Pro-actively identify potential clashes between Contractor requirements (site access, vessel approaches, etc) and proactively resolve issues whilst keeping the EPCI Installation Manager informed.
•            Ensure that a safe system of work is implemented and strictly adhered for all EPCI activities in Pemba.
•            Ensure that the Pemba Team organization is matched to the relevant project phases and that resources are identified, mobilized and demobilized in accordance with the plan.
•            Ensure appropriate processes / ways of working are established and implemented appropriate to the work activities being undertaken.
•            Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with project technical requirements and fit for purpose.
•            Provide leadership within activities for HSSE performance and compliance including monitoring of performance, implementation of corrective measures for performance issues and proactive implementation of schemes / activities to improve upon good performance.
•            Provide leadership in Quality performance and compliance across activities and ensure that activities are performed in compliance with a high regard to Quality Assurance and Control.

Accountabilities
•            Management and coordination of in-country (Pemba) EPCI Contract DW installation scope delivery and team during the project execution phase.
•            Safe and on time delivery of the DW installation scope of work within the EPCI Contract whilst ensuring a high level of quality consistent with a project design life of 30 years. Ensure compliance with Company HSE requirements within all work activities.

Qualifications/Experience required
•            Minimum of 20 years relevant track record in offshore installation activities, with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in management installation activities for large scale EPCI contracts with logistics, critical lifts, resources management, risks identification and mitigations.
•            Proven team leadership / management experience. Knowledgeable and experienced in general deep water installation aspects. Ability to get along well with others in an international / multi-cultural environment and take a pragmatic approach to problem solving situations. Ability to develop good working relationships with contractors and contractor personnel and progress collaborative problem solving.
•            Able to assess and analyze contractor installation plans/procedures and robustness of overall execution planning.  
•            Fluency in English language and capable to represent the project in front of all stakeholders in a professional and organized manner. Portuguese is a plus. Tertiary level education preferred.
•            Current BOSIET and OGUK medical.
