Position Overview:This is a temporary position within the Supply Chain Management Department. The Expeditor III will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials and services in alignment with project schedules and procurement requirements. This role involves close coordination with suppliers, internal teams, and project stakeholders to track and expedite purchase orders, manage documentation, and resolve delivery issues.
The Expeditor will be an integral member of the procurement team, with opportunities for advancement based on performance and experience. The work environment is fast-paced and performance-driven, emphasizing efficiency, reliability, and collaboration.

This role involves close coordination with suppliers, internal teams, and project stakeholders to track and expedite purchase orders, manage documentation, and resolve delivery issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm supplier receipt and acknowledgment of purchase orders.
- Track progress of long-lead items and ensure on-time delivery per purchase order requirements.
- Ensure all required documentation, proof of delivery, and proper invoicing are received and processed.
- Coordinate material deliveries to job sites in collaboration with suppliers, field teams, and project managers.
- Work with warehouse teams to manage return of tear-down reports and repairable items.
- Monitor and report on the status of material and equipment orders to meet project timelines.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve delivery issues or delays.
- Prioritize and expedite critical orders based on project needs.
- Operate across multiple time zones as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and deliveries.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks or delays.
- Provide regular updates to project teams on delivery status.
- Support Sourcing Specialists in resolving issues between requesters, Accounts Payable, and suppliers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in expediting, sourcing, or procurement—preferably in the energy, process, or chemical industries.
- Experience with Oracle Financials or similar purchase order management systems is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on internal stakeholder satisfaction.
- Proven experience in supplier or contractor management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
- Ability to take direction and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
