Department/Project: LNG Facilities Engineering Dept.
Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar
Contract Duration: 24 Months Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare techno-economic feasibility reports for Management of Change and multi-disciplinary Engineering Studies (Directive/Regulatory/Financial/Reliability/SHE/Opportunity) to enhance plant operations across all QG assets.
- Conduct economic and financial evaluations of feasibility studies and opportunities using the PPMID model.
- Develop Gate Packages in alignment with QatarEnergy LNG Project Management Systems (PMS).
- Provide technical support for Management of Change and engineering studies to ensure asset integrity and reliability.
- Deliver engineering input throughout the project lifecycle (Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Design) to ensure quality and flawless execution.
- Participate in Safety Workshops, Cold Eye Reviews, and Value Improvement Workshops.
- Review and validate engineering documents including drawings, data sheets, philosophies, and specifications from vendors, contractors, and consultants.
- Execute engineering activities and develop deliverables using relevant engineering software tools.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and controls.
- Mentor National Development Program (NDP) participants and share knowledge to support their growth.
- Provide ongoing technical support to ensure asset integrity across company operations.
- Ensure all activities comply with company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality policies and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Proficient in relevant engineering software and specifications.
- Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
