Finance Manager (Offshore Wind)

Role Overview 
NES Fircroft is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to support our clients accounting operations of several offshore wind farm entities. This contract role offers exposure to a fast-growing sector within renewable energy and the opportunity to work on high-impact projects.

Scope of Work

• Delivery of financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts
• Development of audit-standard working papers and support during audit processes
• Balance sheet management, including reconciliations and resolution of ledger issues
• Strategic financial support for wind farm developments, acquisitions, divestments, and restructuring initiatives

Required Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong understanding and application of IFRS
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely

Desirable Skills

• Experience using SAP
• Familiarity with CCH accounts preparation software

Additional Information This role is hybrid, with the base location in Swindon. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and forward-thinking team contributing to the UK’s renewable energy transition. Sponsorship is not available for this role so a full UK Right to Work is essential.
