Position: Handover Coordinator
Location: Qatar
Industry: Oil & Gas

Experience Required: Minimum 8 years of multidisciplinary experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including projects and facilities Operations & Maintenance (O&M). Proven track record in managing multi-party coordination and ensuring organizational readiness for facility handovers.


Job Purpose:
  • To coordinate and implement processes that ensure efficient and seamless handover of multiple projects (CAT I–III) under the OES umbrella.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and update Operations Readiness Review (ORR) checklists for OES Projects (CAT I–III).
  • Ensure supporting documentation is available to confirm the status and closure of ORR checklist deliverables.
  • Coordinate the drafting, review, and approval of handover deliverables registers (P-to-PA).
  • Manage early documentation deliverables from PMT and consolidate OES comments for project teams.
  • Support the Completions & Handover Lead in stakeholder approvals for Operations Readiness Plans (ORP) and quarterly updates of project timelines.
  • Develop and track roles and responsibilities (R&R) matrices with internal and external stakeholders for issue resolution and handover readiness.
  • Contribute to OES weekly and monthly reports regarding ORP, ORR, and P-to-PA status.
  • Maintain and update the OES CAT II & III division’s SharePoint portal.
Job Context:
  • The role demands coordination across multiple stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables outlined in the ORP. The successful candidate will help facilitate safe and seamless project start-ups and handovers, supported by comprehensive documentation (ORR Checklist and P-to-PA Register).
