NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a Major Oil and Gas Operator who are looking for a HSE Supervisor to work on a major LNG Terminal project .

The position will be split between the client offices in Hamburg and the site location in In Brunsbüttel and will operate on a contract basis for an initial 12-month duration for excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop. The role will be required to work in Hamburg/ Brunsbüttel full time Monday – Friday. In return the individual will be provided with an excellent day rate

HSE Supervisor
Job Summary:
The HSE Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safety, health, and environmental aspects during project activities and to ensure that it is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Task and responsibilities:
• Implement the Project HSE management plan and ensure that all project activities are
conducted in accordance with the plan.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
and risks.
• Provide safety training and coaching to workers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to safety, health, and
environmental protection.
• Maintain HSE records and reports and ensure that they are accurate and up to date.
• Supervise project activities assigned to Contractor, Subcontractor (s) and workers.
• Participate in daily project site meetings and toolbox talks.
• Ensure that workers comply with HSSE standards, expectations, and safe behavior.
• Performs regular site inspections and reports observations to Project HSE Manager or Project
Deputy HSE Manager on day-to-day basis.
• Provides HSE support in investigating incidents and events.

Required background:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HSE supervision in operative project execution and
construction site management for complex technical projects in either civil construction, oil and
gas industry, plant engineering industry or similar industries.
• Specialized in HSE but work experience shall be regarded as more relevant.
• Knowledge of construction sites phases in oil & gas industry or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of HSE practices, regulations, standards, local and international legislation.
Qualifications:
• Education in Health, Safety and Environmental engineering, NEBOSH Certificate is a plus.
• VCA or SCC certificate is a must.
Language:
• Fluent in English.
