One of the client’s FPSOs will be refurbished and modified for deployment on a new field. The project entails modifications to the Topsides, Turret Mooring System and vessel systems of the FPSO, as well as repair and life extension works. The FEED (Front End Engineering and Design) ended in August 2025 and provides the Basic Engineering for the project. The EPC phase is due to start in September 2025 and is scheduled for delivery and handover by Q2 2028.

Function
- Manages the team of Planning Engineers for the project.
- Ensures delivery of the project’s contract and corporate standards-compliant services on Planning & Scheduling and Progress Measurement and Reporting.
- Manages subcontractors in the fields of Planning, Scheduling and Progress Measurement and Reporting.
- Ensures key project administrative planning, scheduling and progress measurement and reporting structures (including WBS and Key Interface Milestones) are defined, approved, and maintained.
- Ensures baselines for reporting on Planning and Progress are defined, approved, and maintained.
- Manages and oversees the Planning and Scheduling on the project, including integration of sub-schedules, integrated progress measurement and reporting.
- Manages and oversees the Change Control process of the project in terms of Planning & Scheduling, working closely with the Change Coordinator.
- Performs and reports Schedule Risk Analyses (SRA) and Scenario Scheduling as required.
- Presents project status on Planning and Progress to stakeholders as required.
- Defines the WBS in P6 in line with the overall project structuring protocols.
- Defines P6 activities on the basis of subject-associated registers.
- Constructs the P6 closed and resource-loaded network, applying key milestone dates.
- Constructs associated histograms, progress S-curves, and manhour efficiency calculation sheets/reports.
- Presents schedule baselines for approval by the designated Project or Delivery Manager and the PCM.
- Updates weekly the subject schedule and reports progress, efficiency, forecast dates and status of critical path(s) (against baselines). Aligns with Cost Engineer on staffing plans.
- Performs schedule analyses for new changes and provides input on schedule impact to estimating sheets for changes (CIRs).
- Implements approved changes into the subject (Sub)Project L3 schedule.
- Performs scenario schedule analyses and probabilistic schedule analyses as required.
- BSc with demonstrable experience – at least 5 years – in leading a team of Planning Engineers on industrial EPC projects with a value >100M USD in either O&G or similar industries.
- Demonstrable experience as EPC project Planning Engineer for at least 10 years.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of working with PRIMAVERA P6, MS Projects and PRIMAVERA RISK ANALYSIS.
- Flexibility to travel and be assigned worldwide (in particular within Europe, Middle East or Far East).
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent skills in MS Excel, including functions, pivot-tables and graphs.
- Excellent reporting, writing and presentation skills.
- Collaborative, communicative personality with sound business ethics.
