A Locusview Administrator plays a vital role in managing and maintaining the Locusview Digital Construction Management (DCM) platform, which streamlines utility construction operations from planning to close-out. Responsibilities for this position are included below. 

Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent desired
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and/or field knowledge preferred
• Minimum of one year of relevant field work experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Locusview Expertise:

• Strong understanding of the Locusview database and its functionalities.
• Ability to create and manage projects within the Locusview platform.

Database Management:


• Monitoring daily Locusview database inputs from field crews.
• Cross-referencing and validating information received against the Locusview database to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining timely updates within the Locusview database.
• Ensuring the accuracy of systems of record (SOR) by facilitating integration with Locusview

User Training and Support:

• Training field personnel on how to use Locusview tablets and the platform effectively.
• Assessing crew training needs and providing support to ensure proper updates are completed.

System Configuration and Optimization:

• Configuring the Locusview system to control how data (work orders, forms, assets) is structured and collected across platforms.
• Providing support for the smooth implementation of the Locusview platform.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Utilizing Locusview to track project progress and make data-driven decisions.
• Generating reports on contractor performance and work order projects.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with database management concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
• Understanding of GIS concepts and integration with Locusview.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with field crews, supervisors, and other stakeholders.

Problem-solving and Analytical Skills:

• Ability to analyze data and identify trends related to project progress, costs, and risks.
• Strong analytical skills to resolve issues related to Locusview implementation and usage.
