Measurement / Analyzer Specialist – Key Responsibilities The Specialist promotes safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards and supports mechanical reliability through failure analysis, troubleshooting, spare parts management, and collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams.

Technical & Field Support
- Assist with analyzer repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting (not first-call).
- Provide field support to ensure quality repairs.
- Collaborate with Analyzer Engineer and maintenance teams on repair scopes and job packs.
- Manage spare parts and interface with the storehouse to resolve issues.
- Oversee BOMs for overhauls and major jobs.
- Conduct annual verification of critical parts and lead dead/dormant reviews.
- Gather site data for engineering scopes.
- Support planning, procurement, and execution of projects and T/A activities.
- Assist with inspections (FATs, SATs) and provide technical input.
- Lead and support RCFA for equipment failures.
- Document findings in SAP and follow up on recommendations.
- Work with engineering to improve equipment performance and update PMs.
- Monitor and improve fleet health.
- Contribute to long-term improvement plans and implement new technologies.
- Share and apply learnings from other sites and networks.
- Mentor and evaluate analyzer technicians.
- Identify training needs and support development with Craft organization.
- Lead training sessions and provide guidance during break-in events and startups.
- Act as liaison between mechanical and engineering teams.
- Initiate simple MOCs (e.g., non in-kind analyzer replacements).
- Support operations training for new equipment.
