Job Title: Night Dispatcher III Location: Spring, TX
Openings: 1
Schedule: Initially Monday–Friday day shift (6 AM – 6 PM); transitions to night shift (7 PM – 7 AM)
Hours: 40 regular hours / 44 overtime hours per week
Target Pay Rate: $38/hour
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: One year from start date
Position Overview: The Night Dispatcher III will support transportation planning, monitor driver activities, and ensure data accuracy within the scope of control. This role requires flexibility to work any assigned shift, strong time management, and excellent communication skills. Prior experience in transportation management and oilfield operations is preferred.
The dispatcher will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of materials, supplies, equipment, production water, and service work for XTO. Success in this role depends on strong organizational skills, real-time monitoring, and effective communication with XTO field/office personnel and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with vendors, XTO field and office teams, and ADAPTS teams.
  • Utilize transportation management systems such as Gemini, Open Invoice/Open Ticket, Airtable, and Excel to assign, track, and record workflows.
  • Align vendor expectations and requirements with contract obligations.
  • Coordinate job orders from field personnel via phone, email, and work order software for hauling/disposal of industrial/environmental waste, production water, and service work.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with field and management personnel to provide job status updates via voice, text (as needed), and end-of-day email reports.
  • Maintain a current daily log of all work in progress.
  • Resolve issues and discrepancies promptly to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Notes:
  • The first 2–3 weeks will be on a day shift (Monday–Friday) before transitioning to the night shift.
