Offshore Chemist (ad-hoc) – 3 month contract

Our client, a specialist provider of produced water services to the O&G industry, is currently looking for x 2 Offshore Chemists for upcoming project.

This project will involve treating slops water to overboard discharge standard (oil in water <30mg/L).
The job will involve assisting with the rig up of treatment skids, setting up chemical injection pump, conducting chemical ranked-dose static bottle tests, and using the test findings to inform and calibrate chemical injection rates.

Must possess:
Valid offshore medical
Valid offshore survival (BOSIET)
Minimum offshore Industry Safety Training (MIST)
Right to work in the UK

Advantageous:
Offshore experience
Experience with analysing oil in waters – (OSPAR referenced IR method)
Experience calibrating chemical injection pump rates
Experience bottle testing
Water treatment experience

Project:
This project is working for a high-profile client in the North Sea, assisting them by treating slops water to overboard discharge standard (oil in water <30mg/L).
