Job dimensions
•            The Onshore Assurance Engineer ensures the monitoring and oversight of the EPC Contractor performances in term of quality assurance and control of the work, and others quality activities assigned to the team. 
•            Follow up and control the quality management system of the Project
•            Strongly and actively involved with quality team in the quality surveillance of contractors and Subcontractors, issuing updated evaluations of their performance within the Project, approximately 177 PO’s and >50 Subcontracts
Activities
•            Support the Quality Manager in the overall quality activities and in the preparation of the Quality weekly report and dashboard.
•            Monitor the procurement process, ensuring that the contractor has adequately assessed flow and implemented the quality assurance and quality control requirements for suppliers and subcontractors
•            In coordination with the Assurance and Integration Manager and the Site Quality Manager verify and ensure Quality Control established at Site by Contractor and main Subcontractor is robust enough to ensure quality and proper tracking,
•            In coordination with the Assurance and Integration Manager Investigate any identified or reported problem in the application of Project Contractor’s QMS and propose solutions/improvements.
•            Review and comment Contractor’s and Sub Contractor’s quality documentation including key Contractor construction procedures to ensure logical process flow and logical interface with engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning
•            Ensure timely review and approval of Contractor’s and Sub Contractor’s, project quality plans, quality control plans key project management procedures, ensuring that they fulfil contract requirements.
•            Make sure the Contractor’s quality documents have been approved without comment before endorsement by the Sub Contractor.
•            Attend weekly quality management meetings to monitor Contractor’s quality activities, including the follow-up of the quality audit outcomes implemented by Contractor; attend vendor audit if required.
•            Ensure Contractor monitors, through some planned preservation inspections, that the preservation and the storage of the material by vendor are in compliance with contract requirement
•            Ensure CCS implements a Vendors and sub-Vendors quality surveillance plan in compliance with approved ITP
•            Identify, and follow-up any Project nonconformities, derogations, deviation, correctives actions until resolution
•            Liaise daily with the inspector coordinator: record and follow all quality issues identified during inspection.
•            Make sure all punch lists open during FAT are closed by Vendor before the issuance of the release note by Contractor
•            Ensure Contractor preservation visit plan for the completed equipment stored at vendor’s workshop or on the yard is properly defined and implemented as per vendor recommendation

Accountabilities
•            Coordination with other departments for the safe and on‐time execution of the work, to deliver a fit‐for‐purpose facility
•            Ensure Quality Assurance Processes and activities defined above are applied through Engineering, Procurement and along the full chain of production at Site and are properly recorded

Qualifications/Experience required
•            Degree in Engineering or another relevant subject required with either an advanced degree or professional qualifications preferred.
•            15 years’ experience, 5 to 10 years in the field of the quality
•            Minimum 10 years on large greenfield projects, LNG liquefactions (preferred), GTL, petrochemical, refinery or gas processing/feedstock plants.
