Plant Operator III

Job Title: Plant Operator 
Region: US – Lower 48 (L48)
Work Location: Helena Stabilizer Plant
Work Schedule:

• Initial: 5 days on / 2 days off (10-hour shifts) for the first 8 weeks
• Transition: 7 days on / 7 days off (12-hour shifts) thereafter

Tools & PPE:

• PPE is required
• No tools or truck required

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate plant systems from the control room with consistency and accountability
• Conduct routine surveillance of equipment and critical operating parameters
• Maintain accurate operational logs and documentation
• Prepare equipment for maintenance and perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Identify and propose operational improvements, collaborating with team members to implement changes
• Adhere to ConocoPhillips’ Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management System policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in plant operations
• Strong technical and functional expertise; able to perform complex tasks with minimal supervision
• Proficient in industry-specific technology, terminology, and procedures
• Capable of making informed decisions within broad operational parameters
