My client, a large power generation company, is urgently seeking a Process Control Engineer.

On a day-to-day basis, as process control engineer you will spend 75% of your time in the back office on project related activities while the other 25% will be spent in a test environment.
 
Tasks / Knowledge that is a must:
  • Knowledge of Boiler and/or HRSG controls is required
    • Water & Steam Cycle Process Tuning: feed water control with enthalpy correction & Deg. of superheat, SH/RH cascading temp & spray control.
    • Interpret customer design inputs such as P&IDs and Functional Narratives.
    • Create Control Logic Programming for discrete and analog controls
    • Combined Cycle steam cycle controls (blending, steam bypass controls, start-up optimization, etc.)
    • Ability to calibration and configure field devices (Press, Flow, Temperature, Level)
    • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Human Machine Interface (HMI)-Knowledge of Ethernet Communications Equipment
    • Aid in implementing site-specific control logic from customer specifications, SAMA diagrams, logic diagrams, and reverse-engineering of ladder-logic, or existing code.
