Woodside Energy is seeking a Procurement Adviser for a 12-month contract with potential to extend.
As a key member of the Procure to Pay team, this role serves as a central point of contact for delivering high-quality services and guidance across the business.
The position plays a critical role in supporting Operational Maintenance, contracts, warehouse & logistics and other business stakeholders by ensuring accurate and timely Procurement of goods and services to a high degree of data integrity in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in Procurement processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring alignment with company policies, risk management protocols, and SOX compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage RFQ process, including market engagement, vendor identification and negotiation, commercial evaluation and selection.
- Procure competitively priced materials, services and equipment to the correct technical specification, in an ethical, cost effective and timely manner.
- Manage and maintain key relationships with internal customers, functional teams and other stakeholders
- Competent in Supplier management as appropriate with a focus on problem resolution and improved supplier relationships and performance.
- Validate and be accountable for data accuracy: GL's, account assignment, Material data, tax codes, links to outline agreements.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet business requirements.
- Demonstrate competency in PO monitoring and identifying scope of supply discrepancies and pricing mismatches
- Administration and close out of Purchase Orders, including changes, disputes, and extensions.
- Identify, escalate and help resolve PO issues to support timely receipt and payment.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, risk management protocols, and SOX controls.
- Experience - Minimum 5 years in a Procurement role
- ERP Expertise - Proficiency in SAP and Ariba platforms is essential
- Industry Background - Experience in Oil & Gas or similar industries is highly desirable.
- Communication - Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Attention to Detail - High level of accuracy in data validation
- Compliance Knowledge - Familiarity with SOX beneficial
