Job Title : Production Process Engineer
Department: Operations
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location : Basra , Iraq
Duration: 12 Months renewable contract
Work Pattern: 28/28 rotation (70% office, 30% degassing station)
NES Fircroft are looking for a Production Process Engineer to provide day-to-day process engineering support to ensure safe, efficient, and optimized site operations. The role involves risk management, troubleshooting, minor modifications, and collaboration with various teams to meet production targets and maintain process safety.

Key Responsibilities Leadership
- Promote safety culture and lead by example.
- Maximize daily production and address losses.
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Support operations and maintenance teams with process issues.
- Monitor equipment health and safe operating limits.
- Initiate corrective actions and manage engineering queries.
- Interface with projects and wells for technical requirements.
- Use tools like Hysys and Pipesim for process modeling.
- Monitor product quality and plant performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with design envelopes.
- Ensure team compliance with company values and conduct.
- Manage development plans and performance of direct reports.
- 10+ years in the oil & gas industry (preferably with IOCs).
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Strong operational experience and communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT tools and CMMS applications.
- Desirable: Chartered Engineer status, Middle Eastern cultural awareness.
- Applications :Aspen Hysys, Pipesim, Maximo, Sharepoint, PI Vision, Power BI, PMCS, GIS, Sharecat.
