NES Fircroft are currently recruiting for a UK, France, or Germany-based Project Manager to work on a nuclear power station outage in Canada. This position is with our client, who are one of the largest energy companies in the world.

Project Manager – Nuclear Outage (BBC Legacy Technology)

"BBC generator Alstom" refers to power generation equipment originally designed by BBC Brown, Boveri & Cie (BBC), a company that was a pioneer in gas turbine technology and merged to form ABB Asea Brown Boveri Ltd (ABB) in 1988. In 2000, ABB sold its power generation business to Alstom, which continued to develop and manufacture these generators before its own power business was acquired by General Electric (GE) in 2015. Therefore, equipment described as a "BBC generator Alstom" is a legacy product from the BBC era, which is now part of GE's product portfolio.
