NES Fircroft are currently recruiting for a Project Manager on behalf of our client, who are a global, industry leader in power technology. This part of their operation concerns the manufacturing of aeroderivative and industrial gas turbines.

Project Manager – Supply Chain Management
Contract position – initial 12-month contract
Hybrid work – office in Leamington Spa
Outside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the allocated supply chain projects including developing scope, defining resources, budgeting, incentivizing success, and ensuring project completion.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record of successful supply chain project delivery and experience in a technical manufacturing environment. This includes experience managing projects, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, strong understanding of the end-to-end supply chain, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and coordinate project plans and timelines.
• Mitigate pushbacks from suppliers
• Analyze impact and business performance of supply chain patterns.
• Develop cost-benefit analysis of proposed initiatives.
• Engage in technical manufacturing processes discussion.
• Manage third-party vendors to ensure project success.
• Review project performance and present status updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
• Manage and communicate to the various project stakeholders

Background:
• Strong practical manufacturing and engineering knowledge
• Understanding of the end-to-end supply chain process.
• Experience working in a corporate environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in project management software and systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• PMI or equivalent accreditation
Aerospace or gas turbine experience is desirable.
