Lead the technical and operational activities of the Steel & Iron Making business. Ensure optimal contract execution and customer satisfaction while maximizing value and efficiency for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer & Operations Management
  • Build strong customer relationships and proactively resolve issues to eliminate complaints.
  • Oversee technical and operational matters on-site, identifying improvement opportunities to support business growth.
  • Monitor and control refractory usage, cost, and delivery to align with company standards and profitability goals.
  • Ensure efficient inventory and stock control systems are in place.
Planning & Performance
  • Develop annual business and inventory plans based on customer trends and strategic goals.
  • Set and track performance objectives, including sales volume, profitability, and new product trials.
  • Forecast and manage annual sales budgets for assigned customers.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor the on-site team to meet customer expectations and company objectives.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and manage team development.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
  • 5–10 years of managerial experience in heavy industries.
  • Hands-on experience in site operations (production/plant) and project management.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of steel production or refractory processes (preferred).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing operations and technical systems.
  • Proficient in English and Vietnamese.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • High adaptability, time management, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and general computer applications.
Problem Solving & Complexity
  • Handle customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead the introduction of new products or systems.
  • Manage customer relationships and contract performance.
  • Optimize inventory control and team productivity.
