Project Procurement Advisor

- Serve as project procurement portfolio focal point for sourcing and execution of equipment & materials and services procurement, commercial valuation, award, expediting, logistics planning and execution and coordinate with field materials management
- Ensure that proper oversight is carried out including subcontracting activities, bid list development, bidder qualification & selection and contract award through closeout
- Support update of Project Procurement Plan/Status Reports to incorporate project developments, engagement with supplier, contractor, and additional detail around project logistics and materials management strategies
- Extensive interaction with internal business clients to clarify requirements, agree on procurement strategy and commercial strategy implementation
- Regular Interaction with external suppliers to negotiate and award contracts and address queries and issues
- Preparing and reviewing procurement plans and subcontracting plans
- Ensure proper execution of RFQ’s, sealed bids and related duties (includes analysis/evaluations)
- Drives implementation of global and regional strategies/best practices at the business unit level
- Other duties as required and determined by Department in accordance with applicable rules and regulations
