For the Technology Department, we are looking for a QHSE Advisor
The technology department supports the various production departments with technical advice and follows the entire cycle of these projects; from feasibility, through design and realization, to start-up. We distinguish ourselves by focusing on ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning from each other.

Project Description
The TEC department is seeking a QHSE Advisor to support its operations and contribute to the next phase of QHSE management maturity. The ideal contractor will demonstrate a proactive mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a keen attention to detail. This role involves monitoring operational activities to ensure alignment with applicable Safety regulations and best practices. Where deviations are identified, the QHSE advisor will provide targeted guidance, follow up on corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement. In addition, the advisor will play a key role in motivating teams, fostering behavioral and cultural change, and embedding a safety-first mentality throughout the organization.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
• Support the TEC department in advancing QHSE management maturity
• Monitor operations for compliance with regulations and best practices
• Provide guidance and follow-up on deviations, driving continuous improvement
• Motivate teams and foster a safety-first culture and behavioural change
• Conduct QHSE training, inductions, and toolbox meetings
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Investigate incidents and non-conformities
• Lead HSE inspections and ensure proper reporting and follow-up
• Actively engage supervisors and workforce in QHSE initiatives
• Maintain and improve QHSE management systems and practices

Technical Profile Requirements
• Preferably certified Safety Advisor Level 2 (Level 3 acceptable with strong motivation)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE within high-risk industries
• Strong understanding of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices
• Proficiency in QHSE management systems and tools
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with internal audits, risk analysis, and incident investigation
• Ability to translate complex issues into actionable solutions


Non-Technical Profile Requirements
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Ability to challenge teams constructively and drive behavioural change
• Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
• Capable of working independently and taking ownership


Methodology/Certification Requirements
• Safety Advisor Level 2 or 3 (Belgium) is a strong plus
• Knowledge of QHSE systems and methodologies
• Internal audit experience is a plus


Language Proficiencies
• Dutch and English fluency required

• 100% Onsite at Hoboken
• No travel required

• Initial contract until end of year (2025), with possibility of extension
