Quality Inspector – Flexible Pipe Systems (Second Shift)
Houston, TX

About the Role
As a Quality Inspector, you will be the key point of contact for all QA/QC assessments within our Flexible Pipe Systems division. You’ll perform inspections, lead root cause analyses, and support our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with client and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect parts, assemblies, and subassemblies against engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Document and initiate non-conformance reports for any deviations.
  • Ensure all manufactured units meet quality control procedures and customer requirements.
  • Initiate corrective action requests for recurring quality issues.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and process teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Complete and distribute quality records and perform specialized testing as needed.
  • Verify tests on components and completed assemblies.
  • Support QMS documentation: creation, editing, and review.

Shift Details
  • Second Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
  • Schedule: 4 to 6 days per week, including weekends, based on plant needs.
  • Training: Initial training will be on day shift before transitioning to nights.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a Quality Technician or Inspection role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of defects and problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
