Semi Skilled Operative

NES Fircroft are recruiting a Semi-Skilled Operative for our client's fabrication workshop in Scunthorpe. This is a PAYE contract initially for 6 months, with potential for extension based on workload. The role offers standard Mon-Fri hours totalling 38hrs per week.

The Role: 

• Main duties will be operating CNC Profile machine, removing parts after cutting by burning, cleaning parts by grinding
• Operating overhead crane
• Goods movement using 4.5T FLT Counterbalance
• Other general duties painting, pinning, tube rolling, prepping and cutting
• Assisting platers and welders with fabrications

Required Experience: 

• Previous experience with CNC machines, cutting, burning, and grinding in the metals/heavy engineering sector.
• In-house training available for FLT work; counterbalance FLT cert & experience is a plus though.
• Safety Passport 
• Driving License
