Senior Construction Manager
 
Contract period: ASAP - 12 months with potential for extension
Location: Stavanger

Main tasks:
  • Lead for multidisciplinary construction activities during all phases of a project development
  • Have a high HSE focus and participate actively in technical and operational preparations such as HAZID’s and HAZOP’s
  • The main focus shall be topside modifications, but also the projects may also include sub-sea developments
  • Evaluation and development of construction strategies will be essential
  • Set premises for and follow up a level 5 project schedule construction and related activities
  • Will work closely with the Asset management to ensure alignment with the overall project developments and operation
  • Follow up cost and schedule developments of construction activities
  • Track progress of relevant activities and report status weekly and monthly
  • Lead construction project meetings and participate actively in project/asset meetings.
  • Prepare and present relevant information in Partner meetings as request

Qualifications:
  • Senior construction manager, construction manager, senior project manager or similar
  • Minimum 15 years of experience E&P business processes and with higher degree from university, min Bachelors Degree
  • Familiar with Office 365 package and other tools supporting new ways of working 
  • Operator company experience
  • Background from EPCIC Projects from the O&G industry on the NCS
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate seamlessly with other teams and towards central functions
  • Be able to prepare relevant reports and documents and to prepare/ hold high quality presentations as deemed relevant   
  • Must be able to proactively get their key message across to the organisation and to other stakeholders and communicate clearly, both written and orally, in English and Norwegian 
  • Must be able to effectively deal with a range of persons, teams and organisations both internally and externally  
  • Must be able to learn new systems and be organised and structured in the approach 
  • Must be proactive and collaborative towards other functions and stakeholders
