NES Fircroft are supporting a Global EPC who require a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Perth CBD office on an initial 6 month contract.
About the Role
As a senior structural engineer, you have the opportunity to work on high profile Offshore Brownfield Projects. In this role, you will be engaged in projects at different stages from concept/feasibility to execute, detailed engineering and installation stages.

About the Role
As a senior structural engineer, you have the opportunity to work on high profile Offshore Brownfield Projects. In this role, you will be engaged in projects at different stages from concept/feasibility to execute, detailed engineering and installation stages.
Responsibilities:
- Performing hands on structural analysis (integrity and ffs), structural steel design and developing associated engineering deliverables.
- Interfacing with other engineering disciplines as required during project execution and working closely with structural designers to deliver engineering drawings.
- Developing and maintaining a schedule for assigned work scope and deliver the scope on time and on budget.
- Providing site engineering supervision/technical assistance for manufacturing, fabrication and installation as required.
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in structural engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in structural analysis and design of offshore structures, including experience with brownfields modifications, fitness for service assessment of structures.
- Steel structural design experience and in-depth knowledge of detail design engineering of bolted connections
- Design in accordance with International (API, ISO, AISC, DNV) and Australian standards.
- Essential software experience: Space Gass, SACS, Mathcad, Navisworks.
- Preferred software experience: Sesam/GeniE, Usfos, AutoCAD/BrisCAD, Coding and FEA analysis.
- Expert written English for technical report preparation.
