- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in safety engineering or a related role, with a strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance
- Have the K3 specialist certifications (OHS Specialist and or Fire Specialist)
- Experience in Petrochemical or chemical industry is a must
- Understanding of basic process safety and hazard recognition principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in process safety or related engineering field
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards such as OSHA, EPA, and NFPA
- Basic proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Pipenet, ALOHA, PHAST, SAFETI,
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools and methodologies
- Understanding process control systems and instrumentation
