Are you a seasoned Site Supervisor with extensive experience in the installation and commissioning of power transformers?
NES Fircroft has been retained by a client to look for a skilled professional to lead on-site activities across the UK and Europe.
In this pivotal role, you will be the client's primary on-site representative, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful project implementation. You will be responsible for all on-site control, coordination, quality assurance, HSE management, and technical problem-solving.

In this pivotal role, you will be the client's primary on-site representative, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful project implementation. You will be responsible for all on-site control, coordination, quality assurance, HSE management, and technical problem-solving.
In this Site Supervisor role, your key responsibilities will involve:
- Technical Management & Problem-Solving: Serve as the on-site technical authority, overseeing all aspects of transformer installation and commissioning. Use your deep technical knowledge to resolve challenges and interface directly with the factory engineering team to find solutions.
- Quality Control & Snagging Management: Ensure rigorous adherence to the client's Quality Policy, taking personal accountability for identifying and resolving all snagging items. Your relentless persistence will be key to achieving a zero-defect handover to clients.
- HSE Leadership: Work with the HSE Manager to implement and enforce on-site health, safety, and environmental policies. Lead daily safety briefings, stop work when unsafe conditions are present, and maintain a visible safety-first culture.
- Site Coordination & Stakeholder Management: Implement on-site project plans and coordinate daily activities among subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives. Build strong relationships with clients and provide regular, comprehensive site progress reports
- An HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in power transformer installation and commissioning.
- High-voltage electrical systems safety certifications,
- Strong technical knowledge of power transformers and electrical systems.
- Proactive approach to quality and safety.
- Valid passport and driver's license
