NES is currently hiring for a Senior QA/QC Engineer to join a high-impact offshore EPIC project in Qatar. If you’re a seasoned quality professional with deep expertise in offshore construction, welding, and inspection, this could be your next big move! Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred); Master’s degree is a plus.
- Lead ISO 9001 Auditor certification.
- 15+ years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas projects, including 5+ years in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, and offshore construction practices.
- Experience in developing and implementing QMS across engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning phases.
- Proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary QA/QC teams.
- Lead implementation of Quality Management Systems across offshore EPIC projects.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, Shell DEP, and international codes.
- Prepare and manage Project Quality Plans (PQP) and QMS documentation.
- Act as PMT focal point for audits and coordinate second-party audits.
- Review contractor deliverables and ensure QA/QC requirements are met.
- Monitor non-conformance resolution and ensure proper closure of NCRs and CARs.
- Lead inspection teams and ensure adherence to Inspection Test Plans.
