Project context
The project involves buildings, machine buildings, pipe racks and other structure and access in the Maasvlakte - Rotterdam area for the production of renewable hydrogen in the Netherlands.
Goals and deliverables
With a technical background, you ideally have at least 10 years of successful experience as a Structural Steel Preparer/Supervisor.
You will be responsible for:
- Supervising the construction of industrial buildings consisting of steel structures, overhead cranes, HVAC, and FGS
- Supervising pipe rack construction activities
- Monitoring the compliance of construction work in accordance with inspection points
- Carrying out assembly acceptances in accordance with client standards/drawings
- Ensuring compliance with the schedule and reporting on work progress
- Identifying specific risks prior to work execution
- Identifying areas of non-compliance and proposing improvements
- Preparing a daily report of activities, problems encountered, and actions to be taken, as well as monitoring quantities and - final documentation
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
