Position : SURF Installation Engineering Service
Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 1 year, renewable
Location: Saint-Quentin, Paris
Status: Residential Key Responsibilities
- Oversee SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Risers, and Flowlines) transportation and installation activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards,
- Optimize costs without compromising schedule, quality, or safety.
- Promote and implement exemplary HSE practices.
- Propose technical solutions considering project constraints.
- Report progress and anticipate issues.
- Participate in project reviews (HAZOP, HAZID, audits).
- Support contractor selection and RFQ/ITT development.
- Review and validate engineering documentation.
- Address design and constructability issues.
- Attend contractor meetings and optimize installation sequences.
- Interface with other engineering disciplines.
- Coordinate with affiliates for operational authorizations.
- Participate in loadouts, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Ensure safe practices onboard vessels.
- Supervise offshore SURF activities through to commissioning.
- Master’s in engineering (subsea pipeline/risers specialization).
- Minimum 15 years in deepwater Oil & Gas projects (onshore & offshore).
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English (French is a plus).
- Experience in complex, multicultural project environments.
