The Role
- Design, synthesise and characterise novel organic compounds to support new product development.
- Apply synthetic organic chemistry and organic synthesis skills to lab, pilot, and full-scale trials.
- Analyse and interpret data, presenting findings to project teams.
- Drive process improvements, cost reduction, and innovation across product lines.
- Ensure safe and compliant lab practices.
About You
- Degree/MSc in Chemistry (focus on Synthetic Organic Chemistry).
- 2+ years’ R&D or chemical manufacturing experience.
- Proven skills in organic synthesis and associated analytical techniques.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and project management abilities.
- Self-starter with drive to innovate.
- Understanding of PRINCE2
- Driving licence and own car desirable due to location
