Technical Project Manager – Data Centre Network Infrastructure
About the Company / Project Our client is a global leader in large-scale data centre developments, delivering critical digital infrastructure to support high-availability environments worldwide. This project focuses on the successful delivery and commissioning of network and telecom infrastructure across data centre builds. As part of the engineering leadership team, you will play a key role in bridging design, construction, and operations to ensure seamless project execution.
Role Overview As Technical Project Manager, you will act as the main point of contact between the data centre engineering team and construction partners. You will oversee the implementation, quality assurance, and successful turn-up of telecoms and network infrastructure packages. This role is predominantly site-based and requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to meet project milestones.

This role is predominantly site-based and requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to meet project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main link between engineering, construction, and operations for data centre network infrastructure.
- Oversee contractor onboarding, procurement schedules, and delivery of telecom equipment and fibre materials.
- Drive quality assurance through regular site walks, inspections, and adherence to EH&S and QA/QC standards.
- Coordinate installation, testing, and turn-up of structured fibre and telecom systems.
- Track project progress, manage risks, and escalate issues to keep schedules on track.
- Align cross-functional teams to meet turn-up milestones and operational readiness.
- Capture lessons learned and support standardisation across sites and regions.
- 10+ years of experience in telecoms infrastructure.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data centre construction or fit-out.
- Strong understanding of structured fibre systems, OFCI vs. CFCI models, and QA/QC processes.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-availability environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional European languages such as Dutch, French, Spanish, or Danish are a plus).
- Mobility and flexibility to work across multiple European sites.
