ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Role is based in The Woodlands, TX on a 9/80 work schedule.
- Work directly with Shut-In planners along with Facilities, Construction and Operations stakeholders to define and plan Turnarounds/ Shut-ins for assigned assets.
- Facilitate meetings of Shut-in scope owners and stakeholders to identify actions, discussions, or decisions required to mature the shut-in scope through the planning phases.
- Facilitate meetings with Asset Steering Team to drive decisions to accept or reject preliminary scope based on risks, priorities, and business case.
- Manage the Shut-In Log throughout all phases of planning.
- Facilitate meetings of shut-in scope owners and stakeholders to agree path forward for any proposed scope changes and/or impacts to POB, materials, SIMOPS, etc.
- Confirm work packs, Shut-in Log, and detailed schedule are finalized.
- Confirm and report readiness during pre-execution.
- Facilitate daily progress meetings during execution.
- Issue daily reports during execution.
- Facilitate Lessons Learned sessions after completion of execution.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Education:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business is preferred.

Experience:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years experience with preferred experience in project engineering, project management, and/or operations & maintenance in the oil and gas industry.

The candidate will also have experience in developing or have been part of an organization that practices Operations Excellence, demonstrating clear history of success in a learning organization.

Skills & Competencies:

- Experience as a shut-in coordinator, shut-in engineer, shut-in planner, shut-in manager, turnaround coordinator, turnaround manager, or similar role is preferred.
- Project management skills and understanding of business drivers, schedule risk, decision support package requirements.
- Field Knowledge and Gulf of Mexico operations experience is preferred.
- Familiarity of construction work packs, job cards, and facilities system completion processes.
- Ability to review and understand Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning documentation and packages.
- Experience in collaboration with multi-discipline teams, including engineering and field operations.
- Strong team player with problem solving capabilities and the ability to manage a broad spectrum of business activities under stressful conditions.
- Effective communication skills – listening, verbal and written.
- Efficient and effective consensus builder with exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Responsible and accountable working to high performance standards.
- Proficient in the use of computers and standard software packages (MS Office, etc.).
- Working knowledge of SAP & P6 preferred.
